The need for clearly understanding the expectations for appropriate behavior at school is essential for the smooth operations of the whole school environment.  The Lions' Team incorporates five basic rules for the protection of the students academic environment.

• Lions are to be prepared for their classes when they come to class.
• Students are expected to be on time and in their seats when they enter the classroom.
• Lions are expected to follow the rules established by Connersville Middle School and the Fayette County School Corporation.
• Lions are to treat each other, the staff, and the CMS property with respect.
