Conclusion
Congratulations! You have become an expert zoologist!!! You know a great deal about your animal and the habitat/biome in which it lives. You are now ready to share this information with your team, on an upcoming expedition to a local zoo.
Culminating Activity
Visit a nearby zoo. Be sure to locate and observe the habitat/biome and animal you researched. Take photos. Use your journal, to record data and observations made. Some questions to consider...
* Does the exhibit meet all of the requirements of your animal?
* How many animals are sharing this space? Is the space adequate?
* Does your animal appear healthy and happy?
* Does your animal look or act different at the zoo than how it would look and act in the wild?
* What would you change to make the living conditions better for your animal?
* What is especially good about the exhibit?
* Do you believe this animal truly belongs in a zoo? Why or why not?
