The season is changing. |
JESSICAIn chapter XVIII,of The Way To Rainy Mountain by N.Scott Momaday, the three voices are tied together by the importance of the nature to the Kiowa. The storyteller tells about where summer goes when fall comes. They go horseback riding for many day, weeks and months. They ride so they can see many strange and wnderful things. When they moonlight comes out they can see well. Now today in the fall the trees changes. If you look at the tree you can tell the trees changes colors and fall off the tree. The historian tells how important the horse was to the Indians. The buffalo hunter likes to hunt with the horses. One man can go get enough food to supply his family for a year. Momaday speaking in his own voice misses the summer. In the winter he sees the arbor outside his way to get water at the well.He looked at it and thought of the summer. I go camping all the time.I love nature. I like to be in the woods. I like the fall because it is not hot, and the days are longer. We also don't have school.Iget to stay up late and have fun. When I go camping I go swimming.I lay out every day to get a tan.I take my dog with me when I go camping and swimming. we go camping in Shelbyville. I like the nature;it calms me down. When I am mad. I just go outside and become with nature. Just like the Kiowa, nature is very important to me. Nature provided many things for the Kiowa. It also give me the change to go camping and to relax.Nature is something wich makes a huge difference in the way people live. |
