			The Way to Rainy Mountain 

	In the chapter 14 of the Way to Rainy Mountian N.Scott Momady uses stories to tell the experiences the Kiowas have with storms and tornadoes.It talks about how storms destroy the Kiowas homes and, how it kills ther family. The experience of these stroms can be very scary and life threatening.

	The speaker tells us in these paragraphs how you should be very cautious about these things and head for shelter when  you see signs that a storm is coming.The Kiowas didnt have a basement to get away from tornadoes, heavy rains and lighting. All they had is little tipis.

	One of the most scariest thing that had ever happend to me when my mom, my 
,
grandma, my grandpa, step dad and me all went to Richmond to eat out. It was an every weekend thing to go out to eat and go shopping. We usually ate at Ryan's restaruant, and go to a store like Dots, the mall, or somewhere else. On that day we went to Ryan's and the on the way to Target we heard on the radio that a storm was coming in , but that didn't stop us from going.

	We went into the store and started looking, around, when, all of the sudden i saw shopping carts outside slamming into vehicles. then one the store keepers directed us to the wall as he was directing , someone on the inercom said that a tornado was near the store and everyone stay calm. By then i was crying, so my mom comforted me. I heard some one say strom had passed and it was ok to go now. I was so happy and we left to go home. When we took my grandpa haome and told evryone about that experience.

	Storm, tornadoes, heavy rain and lighning are all dangerous unstoppable destoyers that you can have, but the bad things is you can't stop them. Even though some people have never seen a storm like these, they still have seen what hey can do because of the news. The news shows how storms destroy our homes; they also kill people almost everyday.
