The combined choirs received a superior rating at the Music in the Parks Festival and had the fifth highest score our of 44 performing groups.

The 8th grade Symphonic Band earned a silver, excellent rating at the ISSMA organizational festival.
The 8th grade Pep Band performed at the Indiana Pacer's game for the 3rd year in a row and have been invited to return and perform again. The CMS choir sang the National Anthem prior to the start of the same game.
Through the League, CMS contributed $13,850 back to the community using their time, talent and treasures.
Students raised $300 and 45 lb of pet food for the local animal shelter.
CMS students donated 2015 pounds of food for the Salvation Army.
Through efforts of the League Captains and CMS staff, 12,377 pounds of paper were recycled during the 2009-2010 school year.
CMS Adult Spelling team won first place at the Link's adult spelling bee.
The English, Social Studies and Interdisciplinary Academic teams placed first in division one schools at the regional contest.
The English Team placed second in the state out of 56 Class I schools.
The science and social studies academic teams placed in the top ten in the state.
The CMS Speech Team doubled in size to 20 members during the 2009-2010 school year. They competed in 3 tournaments, placing 4th at the Carmel tournament.
The CMS Speech Team had three individual champions.
The FACS Club donated over $500.00 to "Hope for Haiti" in efforts to rebuild an orphanage and school in Fondwa, Haiti.
The CMS Lego League finished 14th out of 40 teams at the regional meet.
